1. What we collect

Account data (email, OTP verification records), billing data (order and invoice details processed by our payment providers), usage data (ideas viewed, picked, template downloads), and visitor analytics (IP, approximate city/region, referrer, device, OS, browser, pages visited, timestamp).

2. How we use it

To provide and personalise the Service, deliver daily ideas by email, process payments and referrals, prevent abuse and fraud, respond to support requests, and improve product quality.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (delivering the subscription you paid for), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and consent (marketing communications, where applicable).

4. Cookies & analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and first-party analytics to measure usage. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Third-party processors

Payments — Razorpay (India) and Stripe (international). Email — Resend on our verified domain. Hosting & database — Lovable Cloud infrastructure. Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Invoice records are retained for statutory periods (typically 8 years). Visitor analytics are retained for up to 24 months.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by writing to support@bizideea.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security. Payment details are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors and never stored on our servers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. International transfers

Where data is processed outside India, we rely on the processor's standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a dashboard notice.
